Platform module
Analyze sprints and predefined work periods
The Work Periods module tracks performance across defined units of work—such as sprints, epics, releases, or custom timeframes. It provides a structured view of how tasks move through your delivery process within each period, helping teams identify patterns, blockers, and inefficiencies.
Visualize the distribution of tasks across process stages—Backlog, In Progress, In Review, Blocked, Done, and more. Monitor how work accumulates, advances, or stalls within a given sprint or epic.
Track what percentage of work is completed during each period, and identify how much remains in early or mid-stage states. Use these insights to adjust scope or improve flow in future planning cycles.
Identify stages where work routinely gets stuck or delayed. Understand whether issues are caused by capacity constraints, review cycles, or unclear handoffs.
Compare progress across teams or periods to evaluate consistency, velocity, and planning accuracy. Use this data to inform retrospectives and improve iteration planning.
Scrum Masters and engineering managers use Work Periods to evaluate sprint performance and identify where teams are falling behind. Product managers track epic progress to ensure alignment with delivery goals. Leadership teams use it to monitor initiative health and assess execution against planned timelines.
With Work Periods, teams can move beyond static sprint reports to dynamic, process-aware insights that drive better delivery over time.
