Tree Map Visualization

The Tree Map View provides a proportional visual representation of your work objects (like initiatives or epics) by selected metrics—such as cost, story points, or completed tasks. It’s perfect for identifying top contributors and spotting anomalies. Clicking any block opens the Details Panel, while the “Other” category groups statistically insignificant entries for clarity. Upcoming versions support color coding, contextual filtering, and time-bound views.

How does it work?

1. Visit the Strategy module to access the new Tree Map visualization
2. In the top-corner of the Initiatives table, you will notice two tabs labeled as "Table View" and "Tree Map View"
3. Click the tab labeled "Tree Map View" to switch the visualization from Table to Tree Map
4. You will now see all of your Initiatives visualized proportionality based on the selected key metric, such as "Cost by Initiative"
5. To change this key metric, click the dropdown next to the Tree Map View tab and select the desired metric
6. Click on any Initiative block in the Tree Map to open the details panel for that Initiative
